NVR Practitioner

NVR Practitioner (Level 2)

I work with groups and individual families and teach the NVR approach to parents/carers/SGOs or professionals working with children and young people.  This can be done face to face, online or a combination of the two.

My Experience

I have been professionally co-delivering the NVR course online for over a year to groups of families in or near crisis.  I work for PAC-UK as a Parent Graduate and have simultaneously been gaining professional qualifications in NVR.  I am registered with NVR UK and am completing the Level 3 Practitioner course which is due to be completed in Spring, 2024.  I came to NVR as a parent in crisis and have enjoyed miraculous success with the NVR approach in my family.  I also apply the principals in all my practice as a tutor, teacher and consultant; it works pretty much everywhere!

As part of my NVR Practitioner Level 3 course I have professional supervision in place in addition to the supervision in place as a current NVR Parent Graduate with PAC-UK.

I am registered with ISO for Data Protection, have up to date child protection training (NSPCC) and insurance necessary to carry out the work described here.

Why do I think I could help you?

I've lived through child on parent violence first-hand and bringing NVR into my home has helped us build a closer, stronger and more connected family.

I use NVR techniques to successfully help children in schools to reduce the number of suspensions they receive to nil and avoid permanent exclusion.

I understand how difficult it is to get help on this issue.  Factors such as shame and a feelings of failure are very common.  You are not alone.  Seeking help is a clear indication that you haven't given up.
